I installed the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler and there was a big problem. The carrier template presses on a chip from behind, so you can't use it. So I just tried the nuts on the board. Well the geniuses at ASRock decided to wrap some electronics around one of the holes. It didn't look like the mother was touching anything but the motherboard wouldn't turn on like there was a short circuit. I unscrewed the bolt and put a plastic washer on top of the board and then a nut on top and lo and behold it loaded. Otherwise it's a great board. I have Thunderbolt laptops that use a TB hub and it's great to have one cable for everything. The board has a DP input that you connect the card to to receive video over Thunderbolt. Unfortunately, ASRock does not supply the cable. So if you want to stream video over Thunderbolt, you can buy a 12 inch cable. I have a Caldigit hub with two display ports and they both work great.
