I have arthritis in both of my shoulders, and I was looking for a lightweight bra that would support but would not cause me pain They are very soft and comfortable and semi supporting but comfort is more important. The straps however have a hem in each that tend to scratch and irritate my neck and shoulder and a bit bothersome. I will try to somehow correct that. Also, they tend to attract lint fabric from your shirt which balls up onto them. I would advise to handwash because of the thin light weight fabric and hopefully they will last longer. It has very thin bra pads placed inside which tend to move around and you will have to adjust from time to time. They inserts can be removed from the side pockets. All in all, i will see how long they last ut I am satisfied with the purchase at this point
