This is a good full size wireless mouse that does the job well but if you are used to flattering mice then you need to work a little . I used to have that. The ergonomics of this mouse is more like a left-leaning mini-turret, so it's definitely right-handed only and works well for fast-paced gaming too. The mouse requires two standard AAA batteries and NOTE. A small element for a wireless receiver is built into the battery compartment (at first I thought it wasn't there). You need to find it sunk there and pull it out (read the instructions). Plug a tidbit of wireless receiver into any USB port, then boot the computer and the mouse is off and running. There's a dots-per-inch (DPI) button on the right that lets you adjust the tracking scroll speed on the fly, and it's fun to click to see which speed suits you best pleases. It's got the standard scroll wheel you'd expect, which works great, and a row of forward and backward scrolling buttons next to your thumb. The only key that takes some getting used to is the right mouse button. The left button is on your index finger and the right button is below your middle finger and closer to the front edge of the mouse. If you're not used to tapping something with your middle finger, you'll have to get used to it. All in all, it's a great, solid product at about 2/3 the price of other wireless mice, but it might not work for you if you have small hands and short fingers. Normal sized hands and large hands, no problem.
