Updated Rating: Yes, the belt clip broke on the first day. This is very annoying. For LEO and the first responder, equipment becomes very important. The phone's case and retractable holster appear to be very well made and should be able to withstand the trauma it would endure in the field, in the community. The belt clip, like most clips, was flimsy. Most of my original clips are reviewed below. The folks at Nakedcellphone are fantastic and responded to me quickly and very politely (kudos to Bill!). Despite the fact that the clip broke on day one, the case itself appears to be quite durable. However, I will say that my rating adjustment from 1 to 5 is (largely) thanks to the team at nudecellphone. Original Review: For those of you who don't know, the Sonim XP8800 was designed for first responders. . This is a solid phone. I've seen it thrown across the gym and it still works, no breakage, no cracks on the screen. I thought the case/belt mount made for this phone would be just as durable. Not right. In the pouch/holster, with my belt strapped horizontally, the slightest tug ripped the pouch off my belt and broke the belt clip.
