Works great but a little shorter. I used it in a planer to flatten the pine wood for the coat. Due to the height of the router carriage and short cutter I had to trim the jig down but for the money I would do it again. Using a chisel over 2 inches wide, he quickly smoothed a coat 10 inches wide and 7 feet long. i love this thing Just as a precaution given the weight and diameter of the bit you will definitely need a more powerful router to handle this. My mikita 2 1/2hp 3612 router was struggling to keep up with this.
