After 60 years of coloring and blonde I'm letting my natural color grow. My hair is thick but I've noticed it's starting to thin a little! I've tried other purple shampoos and conditioners to make my naturally white hair more silvery. This VR finally really worked for me to get the right color with more silver and soften my old lady gray hair growing in Yippsssss. My concern is that some shampoos make my head itch and burn no matter normal shampoo or purple So far I have had NO problems with itching with this shampoo and conditioner. before where others haven't, and price doesn't matter. After shampooing and conditioning with this VR, my hair feels soft but still has body. Even though my hair grows back, I still have a horrible looking pink scalp! Yipss. This does NOT make my scalp pink. I'm excited. Although I don't think I need to use this shampoo every day! The only downside I have is that the pumps don't open and it's a mess with this shampoo. Not as much conditioner as thickness. The color of the shampoo is dark purple, but my hair never turned purple. By the way, so far my natural hair is only about two inches visible at the moment. It has also softened my lighter colored hair. I hope to keep growing my hair to my natural color, it's hard to do and ugly! If I have an itchy scalp or other issues I will give the date a positive review. 5 Stars.
