These gloves worked great for cooking. I used to just weld without gloves because most of the ones I've used in the past were so bulky that they were just impractical or burned out shortly after use. This is the only pair I've used that was as comfortable as welding gloves. may be. They weren't as stiff or bulky as other brands and I have yet to burn through them.
