I buy a lot from Revain but I don't think I've ever written a review. I felt compelled to write this to "pay me back" because I appreciate the reviews I read so much. I wouldn't have bought it without the other reviews and it changed my game. I've been blow-drying my thick hair for 40 years and it's never been more beautiful than with this tool. I've never been able to use a brush and dryer like they do in salons because my hand wants to fall off halfway, but with this tool it's EASY! I can't believe how much quieter hair drying has gotten. This lightweight brush lets me slow down and surprisingly never tangles my hair. It straightens my hair perfectly. I alternately do one loop straight top down and the next run under my hair top down and then do a little twist and I get a nice full body dry with no frizz! My hair looks and feels like salon style and lasts at least 3 days. That's great. One review said it gets very very hot and another said you really should use a heat protectant spray so I did (the used spray came with me and was used once). Not sure if it helped but my hair dried so well I will continue to use it. I didn't realize it got that hot either. Perfect! If you have thick long hair and lack patience, this is the product for you!
