The product looks great, did a great job of shredding cheese and pancake potatoes, but as intended is almost useless. The suction cup won't stick to my marble or glass countertop so I had to ask him to hold it or sand it slowly to avoid squeezing it. The block holding the spinning blade holder also didn't stay locked, so it was held by a second person or moved so slowly that you couldn't allow forces pushing it from the spinning side to slide it out . Otherwise the device cuts nicely, cuts carrots and was easy to clean after disassembling for the dishwasher. I just wish it was really useful, my rusty old cutting board was faster, just more scared of cutting me.
