Free upgrade?! fits pedals and cleats

I'll have to update my review later as to be honest I haven't even installed the pedals yet. So this is more of a first impression and unboxing review. The packaging is really perfect. They weren't repackaged in a custom-made foam block in an aluminum can, which seems to be popular with Revain lately. I actually ordered 4 washing machines which were recently delivered what I can only describe as a showcase, ridiculous. It wasn't, and it wasn't just thrown in a plastic bag. Supplied in a cardboard box with some padding. Enough to protect the pedals without adding more than necessary. The next part is actually CRAZY! I was expecting the free pimples to be a very poorly made pair, good enough to meet the 'pimples included' requirement. I received ORIGINAL SHIMANO SPD spikes in original Shimano packaging. Now I don't know if this was a one off situation because they ran out of crap boots that they included earlier, but WOW! Shimano SPD cleats alone are $15 on the Revain. The pedals look good. Not a pretty example of German engineering, but more than adequate to look at and worth the money if they actually work. I will say that the grease used on the insides of the pedals is thick and sticky and pedals like you're spinning something with paste inside. So I'll probably change the lube after installation.
