I bought this to pull the engine and transmission out of my '68 Cougar. It's a decently built device, but you can definitely tell it's made in China. It's quite heavy for a hobbyist and I expect it will last a long time given the frequency I use it. As for professional use, I would say that this is not the best choice. This block was the key to removing the assembly from the car. I had to use an extra chain to get to the correct mounting points at the rear of the motor. Also, the grip on the handle is quite easy to detach when rotated counterclockwise. It doesn't matter, you just have to be aware of it. Ultimately, this is a great little device. It does a job that makes pulling the engine a lot easier.
