I like the idea but the execution is a failure. The cool side suits me; it's very thin, I wouldn't even call it a blanket, hardly a bedspread. The problem is on the hot side. It's thicker than the cool side, I'll give it to him. But that's about the weight of the thinnest blanket you'll find at your local BB&B. This is totally unsuitable for my always cold wife. If that thing was $50 I would fold it in half and use it as an extra layer on my wife's side. But the price for that weight is mugging. i will return it if i can. Unfortunately it was vacuum packed (which was the first indication it wasn't up to our needs) so I'll have to put it in something else.
