Deep sockets with extra sides larger than 6 sizes are very useful for removing old, rusted screws
For example if you are installing a new car battery this size will likely be needed to remove the bracket in place which is safe rusty screw will be. Try a plain chrome head and you'll rip off what's left of the screw head. Use this and you'll easily pull the bolt out. Necessary!
