In my new quest to be the Julia Childs of fizzy soda, I decided I was going to need her for my devilish kitchen experiments. I really don't like Sodastream brand syrups (too artificial) so I toyed with making them. Here are my New Year's gifts for you: 1 glass of lemon juice 1 glass of sugar 1 glass of water some fresh ginger, peeled and cut into small cubes. Add everything to the pot when it starts to boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 15 minutes. . Allow to cool and use as a soda stream syrup. I am not responsible for poisoning, vomiting or anything else due to my amateur recipe. Although I like it, so leave me alone. Anyway, I digress. Those are plastic bottles. They seem fine and store my fizzy mixes in them. What more can I say?
