I've never had a separate hair towel I've always used regular towels but I keep hearing that it puts more strain on my hair and I don't have old t-shirts (also wanted to I don't use a t-shirt) and I found this. They're pretty good, they dried my hair pretty quickly. But then again, my hair isn't very thick, so it dries quickly anyway. However personally I didn't buy it to dry my hair faster or anything, I just didn't want to carry a huge towel on my head after a shower anymore and they do the job perfectly, very easily. The 3-pack is particularly good, but if you're picky about colors, the gray and blue look a lot alike. I washed them as soon as they arrived and then used them the next night after my shower and there was no problem with the pink particularly any bleeding or staining.
