I have 3 SSK cases because they work so well, 2 NVME (including this one) and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 just they all work well and are holding up Declaration upright speeds. They work best with newer machines, but they let my older USB Gen 1 machines run at full capacity, so to speak, and offer faster transfer speeds. I am very happy with this drive. The only thing I didn't like about this model was the thermal tape that came with it. I'm not sure if this was a permanent change, but it didn't affect the operation of the device.
