I'm just amazed at how many features are packed into such a small voice recorder. SIZE - slightly larger than a portable flash drive. DICTAPHONE QUALITY - high. It has 8 different settings that you can use to manually adjust the sensitivity from high to low to get the quality you want. BUILT-IN MP3 Player - This may not be what you need, but I personally exercise with my iPhone. The XS Max is a little frustrating because there are certain things I can't do with it such as: generally comfortable as it is too bulky. This voice recorder is so small I don't even realize I have it on me. I wasn't planning on using it as an MP3 player when I bought it, but it was a great feature that I found out about later. SPEAKER - You can listen to your recordings or music through the speaker when needed. Bought so I can't tell ATM but I'll post an update later. Overall, I think this is one of the best voice recorders for its portability, recording quality, and extra features.
