Best of its kind, fits straws

Bought over 30 of these straws for environmental studies. After trying different types and brands of travel straws, this one keeps coming back to me. for many reasons. Color - Seems silly, but it's a neutral color, while many others have been pastels, pinks, or purples (and to be honest, my male students don't want to wear pink straws). Silicone tips - some of the others that were similar had hard plastic tips which were less comfortable and you can certainly chew on the tip if that's your thing. Size - They are very small and compact, easily fitting in your pocket along with the keys. One of the biggest hurdles for people giving up disposable straws is not having one on hand. Because they are collapsible, they are easier to transport. Gizmo - Anyone who sees how neat they are twists them together and then pulls them out. phew! Straw! Firmly. Unlike their silicone counterparts, they're fairly stiff and allow you to poke through the ice to insert a straw if you wish. They're also sturdy enough that you can drink thicker drinks without collapsing (another problem with pure silicone straws). Safer - Because they retract, they are safer than a solid steel straw.
