6 years of daily use. only 1 year warranty. The customer got his money's worth. It works very well without oil. tried her VIP50, didn't get it. lasted 6 months. They've only used it once for a real garbage pump and left it on for a while, but it should have lasted longer anyway. but this one, the RUP160, is worth its weight in gold and is used daily, so it never wore out. I wish there was more pressure but it's still nice. the spout was divided by T so there was always some return flow to the tank and I could use a simple ball valve to change the amount of water flow back to the tank. You won't be disappointed with the RUP160. Clean drinking water, no garbage.
