Bought this for my 3 month old daughter for an upcoming trip to the lake. She fits in comfortably without worrying about it slipping off. It can be easily adjusted so that it grows with you for several years. Haven't used it in the water yet but she didn't seem to care for the 15 or so minutes it was with her. It's uncomfortable to carry her in (with any life jacket I think) but I check if I can pick her up by the shoulder or the handle (in case of danger) without choking her and it worked perfectly. While I wouldn't use either of these methods for routine transport of your little one, it works great in an emergency without blocking the airway. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and feel a lot more confident wearing this on the boat.
