I bought two of these - one to pass on my monstrous tower that a traditional desktop PC can't hold. mount because its width is 8.5 inches. Eventually, due to the importance of this tower, I bought stronger straps to mount it. But I think for a basic purpose the product is worth the price. I'm not deducting a star for that, the second one I bought after the tower went well with my UPS. Both are now safely under my desk, out of the way and safe. Didn't even have to pre-drill holes. I will say: you need to make sure the straps are the right size for your installed device BEFORE installing the metal on your table. You cannot easily adjust/remove the straps. once it's installed. If you think your project through and prepare properly, this mount is a great value for what you get.
