This is an overview of the 2-piece metal bracket from 3.5 HDD/SSD to 5.25. The brackets were a bit tricky to properly attach to the hard drive. Not only were the screws difficult to keep in place when screwing them in, but there was no obvious best way to secure them. I had to install and uninstall a few times, but even then the final configuration wasn't optimal. In my opinion, the disc goes too far into the housing. Overall I'd say it's worth a few bucks more to get a one-piece mount that has a few more possible drive positions. You could even drill a new hole in the plastic to get the fit you want, although I wonder if it's that difficult to add a few more screw holes. In the end, however, it worked. And since I had it in my hands I didn't return it, but it's not easy to use and poorly designed. It is a detriment to consumers when so many other items are sold under the same listing, but in this case it also goes against the seller as this recall also affects the valuation of all items. I hope this seller invests as little energy as possible listing these items separately as they are completely different items.
