I bought this based on the reviews and the fact that it is more compact than other more common and much better avocado tools. It's so short that when you cut it, the blade becomes part of the handle. When I first used it, I grabbed that end and tried to (uncomfortably) hold it and I heard a pop. Of course, the outer edge was broken. I don't know if it was already broken or if it broke due to reasonable pressure I put on it to keep it. The stone remover (removal of holes) does not work either. It doesn't adapt to different hole sizes at all and you end up having to dig a hole. After all, the knife doesn't have the serrated edge of the competitor's model. Big difference in cutting. It is important to me that it can be folded up and becomes more compact. Instead, a jackknife is more difficult to clean, doesn't cut well, and isn't durable. Terrible purchase. I threw it away and bought the one everyone uses and it's perfect.
