This product works very well, in my opinion it is best for one person or a small space. It even has some light in it. I don't think ice is necessary, it cools well with room temperature water. I think it works better than my box fan in cooling. However, only a USB cable was included, not a real power cord to plug into a wall. For the price, it's a bit silly. The cable is also short. So when I'm awake I either plug in my laptop or my phone charger. At night it will then be charged for me. I should also mention that it can be used while charging. The small dampers in front of the fan sometimes seem sensitive and sometimes close by themselves. My cat's tail can close it if it accidentally pulls on it. Easy to fix with my hand; maybe my device has just a small defect.
