Not sure if this is real antique gold but it was close enough to the long tie around the neck of mine man. It's not as yellow as the seller's photo, you decide. I chose the average size for our 3 year old boy according to the seller's size chart. It has a wide range of neck girth settings - again, just trust the measurements. Would recommend this brand to others. I shot indoors in natural sunlight, the color takes on different tones depending on the lighting. Hope this helps you decide.
