Review on 🔧 Lisle 15000 Cylinder Engine Hone by Ryan Judy

Lisle makes great sharpeners. I have used the smaller model to finish hone the bushings on a lathe I have rebuilt and this hone to deglass the cylinders on a Cummins rebuild. It's basically the same mechanically as the equivalent solar sharpening. I prefer to use them dry as they can be used both ways, but the stones don't charge as much as dry ones. Just remember to give them a wire brush here and there to keep them clean when dry sanded. I was able to get the taper and ovality almost out of my original Cummins cylinder block while keeping the piston to wall clearance within spec to reuse full size pistons. Worked great!
