They have not been fully tested but they fit well and seem to stick well to the brick surface. Cushioning is decent and better safe than sorry. I have a little more peace. The color doesn't look bad against a traditional red brick fireplace. I think a toddler can easily rip them off, but they shouldn't be permanent. You want them to come loose and not have to deal with tons of glue residue. I am happy with my purchase.
