That seems accurate, although I have no other comparison. It's a bit difficult to remove from the container and needs care and seems to require a slow, steady, but steady pace of removal. It left a green streak stain on my thumb and finger from removing the tape that went away after a few washes. I was shocked to see how acidic my kombucha had gotten (although I knew it was quite acidic, just didn't know how much). I'm glad I have them and will buy them again in the future.
