I bought this for my new pup because of the good reviews and low price - knowing he would soon outgrow it I didn't want to make a big investment yet . I'm the smallest size and it was a lot smaller than I thought I read the sizes so it wasn't a surprise the fact that it's not as fluffy as I thought it would be. It's soft, but not very soft. It actually seems a little rougher than I thought it would be, and I guess I was just expecting a super nice, soft, full, thicker bed. but for the price I think it's great and fits perfectly in our little box. Perhaps the larger it gets, the thicker and fuller it appears? I'm not sure, but if this is your dog's first time outgrowing a bed, you can't go wrong with this bed. I'm sure my dog will love it.
