This duvet is not too thick unlike some of the overly thick duvets I have. The problem with them is that in the spring, when it's still a bit cold, they're still too hot. This comforter is thinner but still allows me to stay warm without overheating. My room is the coldest in the house, but even with the air conditioning on, I was still warm. I can wash and dry them like my other comforters, but what I love about them is that I don't have to tumble dry them for long. It dries quickly. Another thing I love about this comforter is that even with all the movement, the bottom ends hang over my mattress and not on top exposing my legs. The fabric is very soft, light and airy. I love this duvet and the gray color goes perfectly with my bedding and room.
