My 2 year old grandson stayed up all night and because he could crawl out of the cot we put him in a cot. The sleep consultant advised us to go back to the crib and grab that sleeping bag so he doesn't crawl out. That sounded terrible to me at first. I envisioned tight-fitting packaging and it felt cruel. But it's incredibly soft and snuggly, and it has plenty of room to move, but it doesn't let him swing his leg over the edge of the crib. He cried the first night and has since fallen asleep without a sound! We stick to a routine. Bathing, reading books etc. and the sleeping bag is the last thing. This happens just before they put him in the crib. There must be something comforting about that because he sleeps all night! For the first time! Honestly, game changer for all of us!
