Review on 72Mm UV, CPL, FLD Lens Filter Kit W/ Miracle Fiber Cloth & Carry Pouch - Professional Accessory For 72Mm Lenses by Christopher Morgan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent first two sets! Last set was junk!

First off I am a photographer and have professional gear for testing.I own two sets of these filters sets as of 2011:The UV filter is made of good glass, creates clear equally sharp images as without a filter, and all three lenses have a metal mount that threads nice and smooth. The FLD (Pink Filter) is made to be used under florescent lighting on a FILM camera to correct the color balance, your digital camera has a florescent white balance setting for correcting color balance. If you do need this FLD for Film it does creates comparably sharp images as without a filter and will help with correcting colors under florescent lighting. The polarized filter is a real gem and shocked me as it performs as well as my high end filters for strength and sharpness creating rich blue sky's in my landscape photos, and as a matter of fact it even sharpened my 400mm telephoto images that I took looking 20mls out on a hazy day!Great filters and an absolute steal for the money!(I have added test shots to the photos above)Way to go Ziekos, great product, and superb price!Update: I bought a third set 7/25/2012 and they were junk (sent them back) they tested just like the Neewer brand I posted pics of (blurry polarizer ruined my image!) I just moved my star rating from 5 to 4! Warning: Test the sharpness of the polarizer first thing if you plan to use it.

Pros
  • The kit comes with a carry pouch, which allows you to conveniently transport your filters with you on your photography shoots, without the risk of losing or damage to the filter
Cons
  • The filters may add additional weight to your camera setup
