The sensor is terrible

When I think of a portable mouse, I imagine that it can be used anywhere: on a desk, on the floor, on textbooks, literally anywhere except a mouse pad. With this mouse, large movements can be implemented well, that's no problem. But if I drag the mouse down slightly to click a link and it shoots to the left or teleports down an inch on my 15-inch laptop screen, then I have a serious mouse problem. The increased pointer precision is absolutely essential for this mouse. even start working. Writing documents with this mouse sucks. Pointing to a specific location is a routine task. The mouse had no problems moving from left to right. However, it has terrible jitter when tracked vertically. I've attached a photo of me drawing straight lines in MS Paint to show what the mouse is doing. It's on a wooden table. The good news, I think, is that the mouse runs perfectly on my pad. This mouse is not for students who need a mouse that will work on a variety of surfaces. To be honest I have no idea who this mouse is for given how absolute rubbish the sensor is. The physical design of the mouse is perfect for a portable mouse. It's probably too small for someone with big hands to use for long, but the size r is a nice sweet spot that most people can use. The scroll wheel is the highlight of the mouse. Subtle bumps with slight resistance and nice knurling make it excellent. The left and right mouse buttons are fine, but they're louder than I would like for a mouse I might take with me for group study. The device is also lightweight, which helps reduce fatigue, especially with a less-than-ergonomic design. Microsoft needs to completely redesign the sensor and re-launch this mouse. I like everything about the physical design (except that the clicks are a little uncomfortably loud), but the sensor is so bad that I'm faster with the trackpad on my laptop. If the mouse can't even surf the web, it needs a redesign. The thing probably has a battery life of 12 months because it ends up in the drawer after the first hour of operation and can only be taken out after a year. If I didn't have a fever I would return this product and look for something else.
