First things first I have to say when they arrived and after first use I really liked these cups. I was so happy because they were durable and felt good in my hand. In the past I have usually used my mugs multiple times with other mugs because throwing away a good quality mug seems like a waste of time. That has never been a problem. Then. Second use. After driving to work with a full coffee drink and making it to my office door, it collapsed without warning. Suddenly the bottom of the cup opened with a gaping hole and the contents began to pour out. My hands were full and I couldn't get a cup anywhere, so it flooded my shirt, pants, and fur rug. I work 45 minutes from home and didn't have extra clothes so I had to go and buy emergency clothes. This has NEVER happened with other brands I've used. The cups seem to need to last a long time (they're waxed inside) but after what happened I'm almost dreading using them the first time because it was such a devastating ordeal. I'm not sure how long they will hold hot liquid before failing completely.
