This printer works with my Apple computer, tablet and smartphone via the HP Smart app. I would say that all the complaints about this printer come from people who don't understand how to set up this printer. Yes, I had to order a separate USB cable to connect the printer, but after that everything ran smoothly and connected to my wifi every time. The ink tanks are large and there's no clutter, this will save you a ton of money on ink for years to come, suggesting a higher price point. HP is a good brand and any information you give them regarding your printer will only help with research and development in the long run as they ask for your permission to send them this information. The company doesn't poke its nose into your personal life by asking questions about why you need a printer or by tracking how often you print. They just want to see who is buying their specific printers and why and how often they are being used in order to create better products and solutions in the future. This printer is worth every penny I paid for it and I'm sure it will be with me for many years to come. One downside I can think of is that the tray doesn't hold that much paper, but it's more than enough for small businesses or personal use.
