We've had them for a little over a month and they look worse than the shoes he's been wearing for 6 months. The rubber sock started to peel off within a week (we super glued the back) but the elastic started to wear out and the entire elastic side started peeling off within 3 weeks. He has different shoes and takes them off as soon as he gets home, so there shouldn't be any reason why they aren't wearable anymore. We probably just got a lemon because it's just the right shoe, but explain that to a five-year-old.
