Glad to review this product. First the looks. The material was much better quality than I expected. It's a nice, textured, durable rubber that will withstand all surface scratches and light falls very well. It also covers the iPad completely, unlike some others that leave certain edges exposed. There are magnets around the case that keep it closed and tell the screen to turn off, which is always a plus. It also snaps onto the iPad like a rubber phone case, making sure it doesn't accidentally fall out. The keyboard itself is great. This is a minimalist style ultra thin board. The battery is rechargeable but lasts over 200 hours on a single charge if you forget to turn it off thanks to a great power saving feature. One of the best things about this board is that it attaches to the case with magnets to keep it in place. It also means you remove it so you can type from somewhere and hold your iPad in a different position (you definitely can't do this with a traditional laptop). I also have a 2nd generation Apple Pencil and was very pleased to see that when using you can simply place it in the charging area and the rubber has a built in secure grip to put it down when moving (see photo) . the difference in the position of the pins in the pictures). Finally, it all adds up to a very slim and flat design that makes it just a few millimeters thicker than if you didn't have a case at all! Great investment, it will make it so much better when you need to print something. In this case, you don't have to worry about using a clunky virtual keyboard.
