I was able to assemble the stool/toy box quickly and easily. This is very easy, just stretch the box well and press the plastic down from the inside, pressing until it "clicks" on all sides. Then place the large plastic ring on top of the plastic sticking out and close the lid. The lid sticks well to the toy box so I don't really understand why others are reporting difficult assembly and problems with the lid. It is very cute, adult supervision is required, like a stool for small children. This is a good toy box, albeit with limited capacity. The disadvantages are that due to the round shape, it is not very convenient for stacking and space saving. The main disadvantage of this is that kids can easily take it apart, especially when it's empty, while you keep putting it back together and that can't make it that useful, although it's really cute and adorable.
