I have a rare autoimmune condition called Scleroderma which causes extremely dry, tight and sensitive skin all over my body. My scalp is no exception, I have struggled with dandruff my entire life. Oddly enough, my scalp also produces a lot of sebum, which stays on the surface of my scalp since I have curly hair. I needed a product that could penetrate the skin barrier without making my hair too greasy. Here are the pros and cons of this product: Pros: - Affordable price for a quality product. - Plenty of product in the bottle. to cover the entire scalp if necessary. The product is not heavy or greasy, but still provides adequate moisture. The smell is actually quite pleasant, but it can be a bit strong for some people. High quality bottle and no drips -Very gentle on my scalp overall -Excellent at removing dandruff/scalp healing -Safe ingredients for my skin/scalp Cons: -Smell can be too strong for some people. -It doesn't absorb well into the scalp on its own, so I have to rub the product in with my fingertips. (Of course yours may be different as my condition could be causing the problem?) - I have very slight redness on my scalp after using it, but only after vigorous rubbing and it only lasts for a short time. - I personally need a daily reapplication. Overall I would definitely recommend this product as it helps me a lot despite my sensitive skin. It's not a magic elixir or anything grandiose, but it does what it says on the tin very well.
