I tried two things and they worked great: shea butter and sunscreen. The shea butter stays in well and the jar is large enough to conveniently reach and scoop out what you need. Other containers that are too small make this difficult. They are compact but big enough to be useful. As for sunscreen, the way they are swirled allows the creamy solution to stay in the jar and not spill out like some other containers I've tried where you end up with a lot of solution around the edges, after the lid of the container was closed. screwed up - dirty.
