May work for other brands but will not work for 2007 Kymco Mongoose 70

Not sure if it was a bad one that was returned or what. I bought this from Warehouse Deals and it was an open box. When I received it it was in sealed packaging with a certified sticker but I'm not sure how they knew it was good! I have a 2007 Kymco Mongoose 70 with a faulty DC CDI unit. This has the correct signal voltage going to the device but no voltage going to the coil to fire the spark plug. That might be fine, but everyone knows this won't work with the 2007 Kymco Mongoose 70, so I'm returning it.
