Key tool here for changing the spark plugs on our M112 V-6 in my wife's e320 station wagon. Also useful when making spark plugs on my 2002 ML 500 with M113 V-8.at 16 spark plugs, I won't be doing that job but at least have the right tool handy. I wouldn't do the job without this tool, there's such a small gap. that removing and installing new wires is much easier when the sheathing is essentially "stripped" from the end of the connector, safely and with no real chance of breaking the connector or the cable. A tip: removing the spools from the valve cover bracket gives more room to turn the key. While it may seem like a chore, I suggest doing this, especially if you're replacing both the spark plug and wire - which only makes sense given that the plugs have 100,000 miles to travel and the wires assuming it lasts 5+ years may be suspect by then, and because of the availability factor, swapping wires only makes logical sense. I've wired up both ports and cables on my wife's e320 and the resulting smoothness is amazing. The motor is now like a turbine: smoother and more consistent power flow, vastly improved over the old connectors and cables. ' Procedure !
