Looked like a good buy. In the first few days

I work from home and bought this chair to replace a high street chair that I have been using for a very long time. The built-in massager sounded like a gimmick, but other aspects and features of the chair seemed pretty good, so despite some negative reviews I went with it. Unfortunately, many of the reviews are actually correct, as I had already bought another chair after only three weeks. and this one is now gathering dust in the garage (because it seemed silly to throw it away since it's only three weeks old). The chair wasn't too difficult to put together - no more difficult than any other office chair I've bought. Even the built-in massager was a little better than expected, but unfortunately the chair itself was only comfortable for a few days. By day 4 the seat was already feeling snug and even the base of the seat felt a little pl in the sense that the ends of the seat were slightly curved giving me the feeling of sitting leaning forward , which was enough to make me uncomfortable. But after about 10 days, the seat itself became very hard and caused so much discomfort that I changed my position in it many times during my work shift at home. Technically there was nothing 'wrong' with the chair to return, but I knew I had to replace it at that point (and found something much better on sale at one of the chain stores). And the fact is I could still buy it if it was set up in store to try on as initial comfort is good but whatever material is on the seat it doesn't hold up at all and it became so difficult to sit on in just a few days.
