I have to say that these microfiber towels are very soft and even fluffy. It also doesn't stick to parts of my hands that may have dry skin (I know it sounds weird, but that's an issue with some microfibers). I bought them specifically for drying wavy hair. They work great! I would say if you have very long and coarse hair it will be smaller but it seems quite absorbent so maybe it doesn't matter. After drying my hair (near the shoulder blade), the towel wasn't too wet. They also seem to dry fairly quickly and seem great if you travel a lot.
