I am desperate for jeans for my very skinny 13 year old. It has grown from its 14 slims and very few brands offer 16 slims. I was happy to see that some Levi's models for boys are available in a size 16 Slim. Unfortunately, the waist of the 505 16 slim is still too big for him. I measured my son's waist and it is 28 inches. Although marked as a waist size 26, the jeans were at least 2 extra inches oversized at the waist. And there is no waist adjustment function (internal elastic band with buttons to adjust waist). If it had an adjustable waist we could keep it as the length is perfect, and these are good quality jeans. I also wonder why they make the 505 in slim sizes - isn't one of the features of the 505 the extra hip room? What kind of baby with a small waist needs extra space in the hips.
