He works - his toast. It's easy to use. The retro style is almost ridiculous, but it's fun to have on the counter and makes us smile. The highlight is the amazing candy apple red color - like a 1960's Corvette hot rod - outstanding for a cheap toaster. The overall quality is fine. We've had two expensive Breville toasters in a row, neither of them worked well - their level of quality and build quality is much higher than Redmond's, but - they didn't toast well - so what's the point. It works - so far so good - about a month.
