I've been looking for a suitable place to store my vinyl and laserdiscs for a long time. This product is a reasonable compromise compared to plastic milk crates or wooden crates. They are very light and versatile, made of pressed cardboard. Anyone who has worked in retail will recognize a similar design to aisle display cases. Make no mistake, this is not solid wood. However, it's difficult to find other sensible shelving that could work just as well. The box is well designed and practical as a stacked unit no more than three high. They are significantly weaker if used in the wrong orientation. So note that they cannot be used as crates or to transport content.
