My 4 year old jumper needs to lose 16 pounds. ☹️ Unlike most jumpers, he doesn't want to chase frisbees or be very active. (It doesn't help that it's hot where we live.) I switched to ProPlan Weight Management on the advice of my vet. He doesn't like the taste so I put some nonfat unsalted broth on him and he eats it. I was concerned about cutting it down to 1 cup per meal, but it does contain fiber and he seems happy with it. My 15 lb Chivini loves it so she eats it too. What I have noticed in just 2 weeks is that he is feeling better and has more energy. Maybe because the weather is getting cooler, but he's also starting to lose weight. I know jumpers are prone to joint problems and being overweight is a BIG problem. He's our fourth jumper and we've never had a weight problem, so this is all new to us. I would recommend this food as I've noticed how much better he feels and I'll be happy when he gets back to his normal weight.
