I used 3x3 drawer dividers I had to plan how many to order. I knew they were a little smaller at the bottom, but I didn't know how much smaller they were. Lip balm in particular fits perfectly into the typical 3x3 divider on every other brand I own. Most of my tube lip balms don't fit in, but they also take up space in a 3x6. I also have a few small pallets that won't slide to the bottom of wider containers. Personally, I like them a lot for many other purposes, but not for cosmetic organizers. Most of the beauty products I keep in drawers are sized to better fit the actual 3x3, 3x6, and 6x6 compartments. Instead I plan to use them in my laundry room and I think they will be great there.
