Beautiful carafe, but it doesn't matter if the coffee gets cold. The Zojirushi website linked from the Revain product page says "168*F after 12 hours and 123*F after 24 hours". I checked the temperature twice and preheated the carafe with hot water; 12 Hour Results: Average 151*F. Results in 24 hours: Average 106*F. It's barely warm for my taste. My 20 year old COSCO (discontinued) with a cracked seal works better. In a few days he will return to Revane. Life is too short to spend money or drink warm coffee. If you're poking fun at my fussiness when I have to get up at 4am to get to work, I make coffee every other day and plan on drinking hot coffee every other day without making a daily mess and hot Coffee in the microwave.
